France secured a 1-0 win over ten-man Brazil in their glamour friendly at the Stade de France.
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema netted the winning goal for France early in the second half to continue their improvement under Laurent Blanc.
Brazil were facing an uphill battle from the moment Hernanes was sent off five minutes before the break for kicking Benzema in the chest.
France made their numerical advantage count on 54 minutes when Benzema converted Jeremy Menez's cross past Julio Cesar.
Brazil pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but France held on to record an impressive win over the South American giants.
