Hartlepool earned a 1-1 draw with Championship side Hull City in an entertaining friendly at Victoria Park on Saturdy.
Chances were at a premium throughout and Jonathan Franks had the hosts only real chance but finished it emphatically on the hour mark. The Tigers responded 12 minutes later as Cameron Stewart was quickest to react to Scott Flinders' parry and tapped home from six yards. It was another good workout for Neale Cooper's men as they prepare for the new season to kick off next Saturday at Crewe in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
