Hereford gained only their second win of the season with a 2-0 victory over fellow strugglers Bradford at Edgar Street.

Bradford had skipper Michael Flynn dismissed 11 minutes from time when he got a second booking for a foul on Harry Pell and from the resulting free-kick Steven Leslie fired Hereford in front before Tom Barkhuizen wrapped up the points. The visitors started well with Craig Fagan heading a cross from Jamie Devitt over the crossbar in the second minute. Flynn also rifled a 25-yard shot wide of the Hereford post in a counter attack. Hereford eventually responded with Leslie drilling a 30-yard drive against the Bradford crossbar before Marcel Seip cleared the rebound. After the restart Hereford created several chances before the deadlock was eventually broken by Leslie whose powerful free-kick gave Matt Duke no chance in the Bradford goalmouth. Although Bradford tried hard to get back onto level terms, Hereford struck again with two minutes remaining. Barkhuizen latched onto a loose ball in front of goal before beating Duke from six yards.
