It was a day to forget for Wigan's Steven Sessegnon who scored an own goal and was later sent off as his side were beaten 2-0 at Leyrton Orient.

The hosts went ahead in the 18th minute with the first effort from either side as Sessegnon chested the ball into his own net after a Josh Koroma cross.

Aaron Connolly should have controlled his effort much better on the half-hour mark after a good linkup with Ollie O'Neill.

Orient doubled their lead on the hour mark when Koroma picked up a through-ball and fired straight past the outstretched Sam Tickle.
