Lille needed a second-half strike from teenager Divock Origi to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw against second-bottom Troyes.

Lille needed a second-half strike from teenager Divock Origi to rescue a point against second-bottom Troyes in Saturday's Ligue 1 clash at the Metropole. Fabien Camus' opener on the half-hour mark put Jean-Marc Furlan's men on their way to back-to-back wins for the first time this season before 18-year-old Origi netted in the 74th minute. The draw extends Lille's winless streak to four, leaving Rudi Garcia's side sitting in 11th place, 12 points off third-place Marseille who hold the final Champions League spot. Troyes remain in trouble, five points adrift of fourth-bottom Evian, but will be encouraged after a battling display. Lille made a decent start and created a good opportunity after eight minutes when Djibril Sidibe crossed for Nolan Roux, whose dummy gave Tulio De Melo an excellent opportunity. However his shot was diverted away from danger by keeper Yohann Thuram-Ulien. Troyes had their first chance 10 minutes later but Florian Jarjat's diving header fell just wide of the post. After 30 minutes the visitors did take the lead when Jeremie Brechet released Camus, who raced towards goal before firing a powerful 20-yard effort past Steeve Elana. Going behind seemed to wake up the home side and Florent Balmont's right-footed volley from the edge of the area had to be pushed behind by Thuram-Ulien. Four minutes into the second half and once again the visiting stopper was called into action, denying De Melo from 20 yards. The pressure from the hosts continued and seven minutes later a curling effort from Ronny Rodelin was smothered by Thuram-Ulien. And after 74 minutes Thuram-Ulien was finally beaten when Dimitri Payet powered his way down the left before crossing for an unmarked Origi, who headed home at the back post for his first goal in Ligue 1. Looking for the winner Payet was again the provider with two minutes left, and with Troyes unable to clear his cross, Lucas Digne volleyed towards goal only for Thuram-Ulien to once again deny Lille.
