Lincoln vs Tranmere preview
Sunday 21 April 2019 13:17, UK
Lincoln will be without suspended captain Jason Shackell as they seek to clinch the Sky Bet League Two title against promotion hopefuls Tranmere on Monday.
Shackell was sent off for a second yellow card by referee Lee Mason during his side's 1-0 defeat at Carlisle, Lincoln's first league defeat since December 2018. Manager Danny Cowley named an unchanged side against Carlisle but could make further changes for Monday's clash.
Bruno Andrade lasted under 60 minutes for a second match in succession after the midfielder underwent injections to manage ankle and shin injuries before the 1-1 draw against Cheltenham on April 13.
Tranmere boss Micky Mellon is likely to be without David Perkins after the midfielder picked up a hamstring injury against MK Dons. Luke McCullough remains on the long-term injury list after he was ruled out for the season following a cruciate ligament injury.
Forward Ishmael Miller returned to training this month but is yet to be named in any matchday squad following a hamstring problem. Mellon could be set to make changes, with Paul Mullin in contention after the forward impressed as a substitute during Friday's 1-0 defeat to Forest Green.
