Paris St Germain struck twice in the second half as they came from a goal down to win 2-1 in Lorient and keep the pressure on Ligue 1 leaders Marseille.

Lorient had taken a surprise lead four minutes before the break when Raphael Guerrerio found the net, but Edinson Cavani levelled just before the hour mark with Jean-Christophe Bahebeck bagging the winner soon after.

PSG might have expected to see off their struggling hosts with relative ease but were more often on the back foot in the second half.

Ex-Marseille man Jordan Ayew was the key for Lorient.

In the opening seconds he harassed Yohan Cabaye into giving up the ball and raced towards goal before seeing his shot blocked by Salvatore Sirigu.

PSG had two chances in as many minutes soon after, with Benjamin Lecomte blocking Lucas' shot before denying Ezequeil Lavezzi moments later.

But that was all the visitors mustered in an indifferent first half as Lorient continued to push.

In the 19th minute, Ayew played in Valentin Lavigne who beat Marquinhos before sending a rising shot just inches wide.

They got the goal in the 41st minute when Ayew playing an excellent pass for Guerreiro to finish from close range.

But PSG were greatly improved in the second half and quickly set about their task of levelling the score.

Javier Pastore passed up a great opportunity when he fired straight at Lecomte from close range, and the goalkeeper then made a double save to deny Thiago Motta from Serge Aurier's corner.

But Cavani would equalise in the 59th minute, firing in a low volley from Motta's pass.

Nine minutes later, PSG led as Marco Veratti crossed from the right and Jean-Christophe Bahebeck found space for a simple finish as Lecomte overcommitted himself.
