Goals from Adam Stansfield and Liam Sercombe helped promotion-chasing Exeter stretch their unbeaten run to eight games with a 2-1 victory over basement club Luton.
The Grecians went in front with the first attack of the game in the fifth minute when Sercombe crossed from the right for Stansfield to head home firmly from six yards for his eighth of the season.
Chris Martin fired a 30-yarder off the top of the crossbar for Luton in the ninth minute but the visitors doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark.
