Goalkeeper Scott Shearer saved two penalties as Mansfield beat Morecambe 2-1 and move up to fifth.
The Shrimps were in front in the first minute as Kevin Ellison fired home from the edge of the box, but Mansfield were level in the 15th minute when Matty Blair's shot deflected in off a defender.
The Stags took the lead after 24 minutes when Krystian Pearce powered home a header from a Mal Benning corner.
Morecambe were then awarded their first spot-kick when Ryan Tafazolli pulled down Shaun Miller, but Shearer saved Miller's effort.
They were then given another chance to equalise from the spot five minutes from time when Jack Thomas was adjudged to have handled in the area, but again Shearer was equal to Paul Mullin's penalty.
