Newport County keep their play-off hopes alive with 3-1 over Bury at Rodney Parade

Newport maintained their League Two play-off charge with a 3-1 triumph over Bury to dent their automatic promotion hopes.
Mickey Demetriou's brilliant brace and Jamille Matt's low drive sealed the victory after Nicky Maynard's seventh minute equaliser.
The Rodney Parade crowd were treated to three quick-fire goals in the opening 13 minutes.
Demetriou put Newport in front after five minutes when he got the faintest of touches to take Matty Dolan's free-kick past Bury goalkeeper Joe Murphy.
But the visitors were level less than a minute later when Maynard latched onto Danny Mayor's through ball and calmly found the bottom corner.
But parity did not last for long as Robbie Willmott's pin-point long ball went over the head of Scott Wharton and into the path of Matt, who drove a shot through the legs of Joe Murphy to regain the lead.
And man of the match Demetriou wrapped up all three points in the 76th minute with a fierce half-volley from 12 yards out to leave the Exiles just two points off the play-offs with a game in hand.
