Cambridge have signed West Ham youngster Lewis Page on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old has yet to feature in the Barclays Premier League for the Hammers, but he played in three Europa League qualifying round matches in the summer.
Boss Shaun Derry is thrilled to secure the defender's services. He told the club's official website: "We are delighted to announce the signing of another highly rated young player from a Premier League club.
"Lewis is an enthusiastic, modern day full-back with energy to burn and a desire to improve."
The U's have also extended the loan stay of Everton midfielder Ryan Ledson by a further month, while midfielder Jeff Hughes has joined Tranmere on loan until the end of the season.
