Millwall have signed midfielder Jed Wallace on loan for a month from Sky Bet Championship side Wolves while striker Alfie Pavey has joined Aldershot on a 28-day youth loan.

Attacking midfielder Wallace has featured seven times so far this season for Wolves and will be available for Millwall's visit to Oldham on Saturday.

The Lions manager Neil Harris told the club's official website: "Jed had an outstanding season in 2014/15, as he did the year before, which meant that a long list of clubs were interested in him last summer.

"He is certainly a player who we would liked to have signed permanently in the summer but Wolves won the race for his signature.

"We're delighted to get Jed on board. He has real ability, is a hard-working boy, and is desperate to play football and score some goals for Millwall.

"Jed will provide good competition in the midfield area over the next few weeks."

Twenty-year-old Pavey has featured for the club six times this campaign and he has been sent out on loan to provide the centre forward with an opportunity to experience regular match action.
