Bolton have finally offloaded midfielder Medo Kamara after announcing they have mutually terminated his deal at the Macron Stadium.

The 28-year-old has not played for Wanderers in 16 months despite being one of the Sky Bet Championship club's higher earners.

Having joined from Partizan Belgrade three years ago this month, Medo made 57 appearances for Bolton and scored three times.

He spent the latter part of last season on loan with Israeli side Maccabi Haifa and Wanderers, who are desperate to raise funds and trim their wage bill, have now come to an agreement which will see the Sierra Leone international leave.

"Wanted to say thx to the fans, the staff, my team mates and everyone else at the club for making my time at @OfficialBWFC so special. 1/2," Medo said on Twitter.
