Burton have strengthened their forward line for the end-of-season run-in with the signing of Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

The 19-year-old, who is the son of former Forest and England defender Des Walker, is expected to provide back-up for the Sky Bet League 1 leaders in the final nine games of the season.

Walker has played 15 times for Forest this season, predominantly as a substitute, and is part of the England Under-20s side that will face Canada at Doncaster on Sunday.

The Brewers have also announced the extension of midfielder Hamza Choudhury's loan from Leicester until the end of the season.

Hamza has made five appearances since joining the club in February and started in the wins over Fleetwood and Port Vale.

Boss Nigel Clough said: "We wanted to try to bolster the squad. We're very happy with the 18 that we had out there on Saturday but if we do get a knock, especially looking at this weekend with the two games in three days, a bit of insurance won't do any harm."
