Doncaster have completed the signing of Mansfield midfielder Matty Blair on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old, who scored two goals in 34 appearances for the Stags last season, turned down a new deal at Field Mill in order to join Rovers.
He will be hoping to help Darren Ferguson's side back into Sky Bet League 1 following relegation.
"The move has come about quite quickly, I came and had a chat and really enjoyed what was said, it was really professionally done," Blair told Doncaster's club website.
"I'd like to think I'm quite experienced in this league now and I know what it takes, I can't wait to get going.
"Promotion is the ambition and was the main talking point in the meeting that we had and I'd be silly not to want to be part of that."
Blair, whose previous clubs include York, Fleetwood, Northampton and Cambridge, becomes the second new arrival at the Keepmoat Stadium this summer following the signing of Tommy Rowe.
