Greg Stewart has completed his move to Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee, Dundee have confirmed.

The two clubs agreed an initial fee of £500,000 for the player earlier in the week, according to Sky sources, but Stewart rejected the deal on offer.

However, the 26-year-old has now accepted revised personal terms on a three-year contract and has made the switch to Gary Rowett's side.

Stewart is available to play in Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Leeds at Elland Road, subject to international clearance, and has been handed the number 20 shirt as Birmingham look to improve on the scoreless draw with Cardiff on the opening weekend of the campaign.

The former Cowdenbeath striker has flourished under Paul Harley at Dens Park, scoring 32 goals since signing for Dundee in July 2014, despite playing in a wider role.

The 31-year-old, who includes Blackburn, Partick Thistle, Grimsby and Kilmarnock among his previous sides, has joined Ayr United on a two-year contract.
