Gillingham have signed Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill on loan until January.
The 20-year-old, who spent last season at Coventry, has previously had loan spells with Torquay and Welling.
He becomes the Gills' 12th summer signing.
"We always said we wanted to add quality to the squad when bringing in players, and Baily ticks that box," Gills manager Justin Edinburgh said on his club's official website.
"He will prove to be an extremely important signing for Gillingham Football Club, and I'm delighted to secure his loan signing."
