Notts County defender Richard Duffy has signed a new contract with the club.
The 31-year-old, who moved to Meadow Lane last summer from non-league Eastleigh, impressed during his first season with the Magpies, taking on the role of captain towards the end of the campaign in the absence of Michael O'Connor, and manager Kevin Nolan has decided to extend his stay.
"Richard's attitude and performances have been first class since I walked through the door," Nolan told the club's official website.
"He is fully deserving of this new deal and I thoroughly look forward to working with him again."
Meanwhile, veterans Alan Smith and Mike Edwards have also agreed new contracts with the club and will continue to combine their playing careers with coaching roles at the League Two club.
