Aubey joins Lens

Lucien Aubey has sealed his move away from Toulouse by joining Lens.

The France Under 21 international defender had been pushing to leave Stadium Municipal this summer.

Following the arrival of Herita Illunga at Toulouse, Les Pitchounes agreed to Aubey's sale to Lens.

Lens coach Elie Baup is looking to shape a team capable of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season.

Aubey, 23, is Lens' sixth summer signing.

Goalkeepers Vedran Runje and Ronan Le Crom, midfielders Julien Sable and Fabien Laurenti, and striker Kanga Akale have all joined Lens.

Meanwhile, Tunisia international Issam Jomaa has been loaned to Caen after two seasons with Lens.
