Bennett and Marples wanted in Blue Square Premier
Chester City have revealed that Dean Bennett and Simon Marples could be set to move on before the close of the transfer window.
Midfielder Bennett has been the subject of an enquiry from former club Kidderminster Harriers.
Marples, who was recruited by former boss Mark Wright, has not featured for the Blues this term and could join Farsley Celtic on loan.
Manager Bobby Williamson is keen to reduce the number of players at the club before the end of the month and is considering the interest of the two Blue Square Premier clubs.
A statement on Chester's website said: "Farsley Celtic have registered an interest in taking Marples on loan.
"Kidderminster Harriers have made an enquiry on the possibility of bringing Bennett to the Worcestershire club on a loan basis.
"It is also possible that at least one other player not featuring in manager Bobby Williamson's current plans may be the subject of a move before Friday's cut off, in addition to the enquiries received for Marples and Bennett."
