Midfielder struggling with back injury
Bournemouth midfielder Steven Foley faces a further three months on the sidelines due to his long-standing back injury.
Specialists have advised Foley, who has yet to feature for the Cherries this season, to give his troublesome back problem a complete rest from exercise for eight weeks.
The Irishman will then return to a month of light training to rehabilitate, if the period of rest is a success.
However, Foley has also been warned that he may require surgery if the two months of rest do not cure the injury.
If the symptoms do not improve, Foley will undergo a weight bearing scan in an attempt to identify the cause of the problem which could result in an operation.
