Quartet extend Whites contracts

Leeds United youngsters Jonny Howson, Robert Bayly, Ben Parker and Scott Gardner have all signed new contracts.

Hot on the heels of Jermaine Beckford's decision to stay with The Whites, the quartet have now committed their futures to the club.

Howson, who scored in the Championship against Norwich last season, has signed a three-year contract while Bayly, Parker and Gardner have been given two-year deals.

Howson and Parker both started Tuesday's St Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Darlington, with former Bradford loanee Parker impressing at left-back and in the middle of Leeds' defence.

Bayly captained Leeds' reserve side on Wednesday while Gardner was unable to feature against Darlington due to injury.
