Internazionale are closing in on the signing of CSKA Moscow midfielder Daniel Carvalho.
Carvalho has travelled to Italy to undergo a medical ahead of completing his move to Inter when the transfer window reopens next month.
The 24-year-old impressed Inter during the two meetings between the sides in this season's UEFA Champions League.
CSKA have decided to cash-in on the Brazilian as his contract was due to expire in the summer and they could have lost the winger for nothing.
Inter's general manager Ernesto Paolillo has confirmed a deal is in place for Carvalho with the Brazilian expected to sign a four-year contract at Giuseppe Meazza.
Scouting
"Our coaching staff have been following Carvalho for some time and the time has come to make a decision," said Paolillo.
"I think when you look at the signings we've made over the last two years and the results the players have achieved, you can see that whoever is scouting players has not done a good job but a great job."
