IK Start winger Fredrik Stromstad is keen to move to Rennes following a successful trial with the Ligue 1 strugglers.
The French outfit are reportedly mulling over a 2million euros (£1.4million) offer after he impressed during his time with the club.
Norwegian international Stromstad enjoyed his stay in Rennes and has hinted he would be interested in joining the side permanently.
"I am very pleased with the trial results and it seems Rennes are as well," he told
Fadrelandsvennen.
"It's a nice club and great city. I would not mind staying here."
However, Stromstad's chances of a move could be hindered by coach Pierre Dreossi's departure on Monday.
