Bundesliga side Schalke have completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto.
The 26-year-old joins the German club from Brazilian first division side Botafogo on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Ze Roberto's arrival at Mirko Slomka's side had been initially announced in the autumn but was held up for medical reasons.
He has previously played for Japanese side Kashima Reysol and Portuguese side Benfica.

Meanwhile, Schalke have also revealed that they are interested in signing Uruguayan international striker Vicente Sanchez from Mexican side Deportivo Toluca, whilst they have terminated the contract of Uruguay defender Dario Rodriguez at the request of the player.
