Stabaek to sell Alanzinho

Norwegian outfit Stabaek are keen to sell midfielder Alanzinho before the transfer window closes next week.

Brazilian midfielder may depart Norwegian side in January

Norwegian outfit Stabaek are keen to sell midfielder Alanzinho before the transfer window closes next week. The Brazilian is regarded as one of the star performers in Norway, although he has turned down the chance to extend his contract. With the winger's deal due to expire at the end of the year, Stabaek are keen to cash in now rather than risk losing him for free. Turkish outfit Ankaraspor have bid for the 23-year-old, although Stabaek have already turned down their offer. "We would prefer to sell to a club abroad," sporting director Lars Bohinen told Aftenposten. "Not because we will get more money, but since we don't want to strengthen an opponent. "Alanzinho's agent claims many clubs are interested, but we've not had a lot of interest apart from the offer we rejected."
