Former Blackburn Rovers target Valeri Domovchiyski is set to join Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin.
Rovers boss Mark Hughes wanted to sign 21-year-old striker on loan with a view to landing him permanently in the summer.
However, they failed to reach a deal with Domovchiyski's club Levski Sofia, leaving Hertha free to strike an accord.
Domovchiyski, who has 55 goals in 122 appearances for Levski, will undergo a medical before the deal can be finalised.
"The two teams are expected to finalise talks on or by the end of the transfer window," said Levski's official website.
