Isiah Rankin has had his contract at Grimsby Town terminated by mutual consent, paving the way for a move to Stevenage Borough. Borough are close to agreeing terms for Rankin to join on a contract until the end of the season. The 29-year-old, who joined Grimsby in 2006, featured 19 times for The Mariners this season. It is claimed that Rankin is keen to join up with former Hull City and Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor at Broadhall Way.
