But Husbands released by Brightwell
Macclesfield Town have extended the loan stay of James Ashmore until the end of the season.
The Sheffield United midfielder linked up with the League Two club on an initial month's loan earlier in January.
He has made three appearances for Ian Brightwell's side to date and the Macclesfield boss is happy with the extension.
"I'm pleased we have managed to get James for the rest of the season - he's slotted in very well and I've got high hopes for him," Brightwell told the club's official website.
Meanwhile, Brightwell has cancelled the contract of striker Michael Husbands, who joined the club on a free transfer from Port Vale last summer.
He made three appearances during his time with the Silkmen and has spent the past two months on loan at non-league side Telford United.
