Russell Duncan is hoping to sign a new deal at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The midfielder rejected Caley's initial offer of a new contract last month as he considers his future.
The 27-year-old is hopeful that a compromise can be agreed to keep him at the Highlands outfit.

"My agent is dealing with it and we'll see what happens in the next week or so," Duncan told the Daily Record.
"If my future isn't here then it's up to me to show others I'm worth a contract.
"But I've loved every minute I've been here. There have been a lot of highs and I'm sure there are more to come.
"I need to be patient. These things take time but hopefully a deal will be agreed."
