Velasco agrees three-month contract
Norwich City have snapped up former Spain international Juan Velasco on a short-term contract.
The full-back has been training with the Championship club after being released by Espanyol last year.
He has impressed Canaries boss Glenn Roeder sufficiently to earn a three-month contract at Carrow Road.
Subject to international clearance being received, the right-back could make his Norwich debut against Barnsley at the weekend.
Velasco, who numbers Sevilla, Celta Vigo and Atletico Madrid among his former clubs, was part of the Spain squad for Euro 2000.
