Blazek may be dropped for weekend game with Hannover

Nurnberg coach Thomas von Heesen has slammed the behaviour of first-choice keeper Jaromir Blazek. The Czech international has found himself the target of terrace abuse in recent weeks following a number of high-profile errors for the Bundesliga side and reacted angrily on Sunday to supporters chanting the name of reserve keeper Daniel Klewer. During the disappointing 1-1 draw with Cottbus, Blazek was seen to gesticulate inappropriately towards the crowd and could now find himself dropped for the trip to Hannover this weekend.

Feud

"He shouldn't start a feud with the fans," von Heesen said. "That is completely counterproductive and will not help the team. "It is not a player's job to comment on the fans' behaviour, but to concentrate fully on the task at hand. "The fans have the right to criticise. We don't need this sort of atmosphere here."
