Recreativo Huelva have recalled striker Edwin Congo to their squad.
The Colombian was dropped by Recreativo in January when they did not register him with the league following the closure of the January transfer window.
However, a place in the squad has since emerged after Jose Ignacio Zahinos was ruled out with a serious knee injury.
Now the 31-year-old has been re-registered and is now back in the Recreativo squad.
"The news came as a surprise. I'm a little uncomfortable that my opportunity has come like this but these sort of things happen in football," Congo said.
Recreativo are currently 17th in the Spanish first division, one place above the relegation zone.
