Frenchman considers his future

Sylvain Legwinski may retire from football after coming to the end of his contract at Ipswich Town. The 34-year-old made just nine starts in his final campaign at Portman Road after a metatarsal injury hampered him during the early stages of the season. And the Frenchman, who was named the club's Player of the Year in 2007, has admitted he is considering his future. "I have to speak to a few people before I make a decision on my future," Legwinski told the club's official website. "There may be one or two clubs that might be interested or it maybe that it is the right time for me to retire from football. "I enjoyed my time at Ipswich very much. It was a very good move for me to join the club and being voted player of the year was very special. "The second season was not so good but that is football. The injury I had put me back and I was always trying to catch up, which is not good at my age."
