Full-back shuns Gers and Werder
Jeremy Berthod has shunned interest from Rangers and Werder Bremen to join Auxerre.
Both the Scottish and German clubs showed an interest in the left-back - who has been frustrated at Monaco following his move from Lyon last summer.
Now the 24-year-old has penned a three-year deal with Auxerre.
"I wish Jeremy all the success in his new team," said Monaco president Jerome de Bontin.
Meanwhile, Monaco have handed a professional contract to Yohan Thuram.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper, cousin of French legend Lilian, has agreed a three-year deal.
