Dennis and Hirst backed to shine

Listen and learn

"As individuals they are all level-headed, willing to listen and learn and that will stand them in good stead as they look to make strides in the game." And Macclesfield youth coach John Askey has also backed the likes Dennis and Hirst to shine. He told the club's official website: "Kristian bagged a lot of goals for the team last year and is one of those players who knows where the goal is. "Chris weighed in with some important strikes and has a great engine inside him. "Both of them have a chance now to make a mark at the higher level. It's going to be a challenge for them but that is what they have been working towards. "If they approach it in the same way that they have acquitted themselves over the last two years then they will do well."
