Barnet stalwart commits for a further two years

Lee Harrison has signed a new deal at Barnet that binds him to Underhill for the next two years. The 36-year-old will combine playing with coaching duties, having struck an accord over fresh terms with Barnet boss Paul Fairclough. During two spells at the League Two club, goalkeeper and club captain Harrison has clocked up 336 appearances; in that time establishing himself as a firm fans' favourite. Harrison was initially brought back to Barnet to act as a mentor to the club's other goalkeepers but last season he regained his place in Fairclough's starting XI and made 40 appearances. As a qualified coach Harrison will help Fairclough on the training ground but he has made it clear he has no intention of relinquishing his gloves just yet.
