Pead, Husbands and Paddock have trial against Bath
Brentford midfielder Craig Pead was among the trialists playing for Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The Bees gave the 26-year-old, who made 32 appearances for them in League Two last term, permission to play for the League One outfit against Team Bath.
He can play as a midfielder or at full-back but started the match at the Bath University Sports Ground in the right-back position.
Robins manager Keith Downing gave the former Walsall and Coventry player the full 90 minutes to have a good look at him.
He also cast his eye over other trialists Michael Husbands, the former Southend and Port Vale striker, who played until the 65th minute, as well as ex-Bristol Rovers defender Ryan Paddock, who came on in the 34th minute.
Cheltenham won the game through an Aaron Ledgister penalty 25 minutes from time, which he had earned himself.
