West Bromwich Albion have announced that Miguel Tininho has been released by the club. The defender signed at the Hawthorns from Beira Mar last summer, but made just one Championship appearance during his debut term. Tininho was sent out on loan to Barnsley in January in a bid to gain first-team experience. However, the 27-year-old has now parted company with Premier League new boys West Brom with a view to joining Portuguese Liga side Leixoes.
