Plymouth Argyle have completed the signing of French midfielder Nicolas Marin, skysports.com understands. The Pilgrims have successfully beaten the transfer deadline to land the 27-year-old on a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent deal. Marin, a winger by trade, has spent his whole career playing in his homeland. He started out with Auxerre, before moves to St Etienne and Sedan. He joined Lorient last year and featured in 20 games, but he has now sealed a switch to Home Park.
