Midfielder offered chance to win move
Port Vale have handed a trial to former Wolves midfielder Kevin O'Connor.
O'Connor is looking for a new club after being released by Wolves at the end of last season.
The former Republic of Ireland Under 21 international struggled with a series of injuries during his time at Molineux and he is keen to get his career back on track.
The 22-year-old will spend the next few days training with the Vale squad in a bid to persuade manager Lee Sinnott to offer him a deal.
"It's just a case of Kevin having a look at us and us having a look at him - that's all there is to it at the moment," Sinnott told the club's
official website.
