On-loan defender ruptures Achilles tendon
Hereford United's on-loan defender Bruno N'Gotty is facing a long spell on the sidelines with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
N'Gotty has been on loan at Hereford from Leicester City and extended his stay for a second month last week.
However, the 37-year-old hurt his Achilles during the early stages of the Bulls' 2-0 defeat at Peterborough United on Saturday.
Bulls boss Graham Turner confirmed that the former France international will be out of action for a prolonged period.
Turner said: "The sad part of the game is that it looks like Bruno has suffered a ruptured Achilles and that is an injury that could well keep him out of the game for some time."
The severity of the injury could lead to the ex-Bolton and Birmingham man missing the rest of the season or even calling time on his career.
