Addicks trial Czech striker
Charlton have handed a week-long loan spell to FC Brno striker Ales Besta.
The 25-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at FC Borno, will join the Championship club on a short-term loan with a view to a permanent move.
Besta says if he were to earn a contract with the Addicks then a childhood dream would be fulfilled.
Speaking to
MF DNES, Besta said: "I will have my first training session on Monday and after a week they (Charlton) will decide whether or not to offer me a contract.
"If they do, my childhood dream will come true."
Progress
Besta revealed that the Addicks followed his progression for a while before making an official approach.
"When Charlton learned that I had fallen out of favour at Brno they acted straight away," he said.
The striker is confident he can impress Alan Pardew enough to earn a contract with the club, adding: "I believe that I can impress here, England is my priority."
