Sparta Prague are hoping to sign Blackburn's Sergio Peter in January.
The German has just spent two days on trial in the Czech capital with Sparta.
And he impressed coach Jozef Chovanec - who looks set to make a move for the 22-year-old.
"During the trial he did not disappoint at all, but his possible move to Prague will be a subject of negotiations in the coming days," revealed Chovanec to Sparta's
official website.
"He is a very interesting player who, despite his low age, is quite experienced already."
Peter admitted he would like the chance to move to Sparta.
"I spent two days in a great club and in a beautiful city," he said.
"I would like to return to the club (to Sparta) in winter, but that is a question of future negotiations."
