Ligue 1 outfit Nancy have completed the signing of Iceland international Veigar Pall Gunnarsson. The striker arrives in France from Norwegian champions Stabaek. The 28-year-old passed a medical last week and will put pen to paper on a three-year contract. He will join up with his new team-mates once the transfer window has re-opened on 2nd January. Gunnarsson has been capped 24 times by his country, scoring three goals, but is renowned more for his creativity than goal-getting.
