On-loan striker impresses in Blackpool draw
Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws is considering a bid to sign on-loan striker Bartosz Slusarski permanently.
Slusarski is currently due to stay at Hillsborough until January after returning for a second stint from West Bromwich Albion.
He grabbed his first goal for the Owls on Boxing Day as he pounced for the equaliser in the 1-1 home draw with Blackpool.
Laws was delighted with the Pole's performance and expressed his intention to keep Slusarski at the Championship club.
"I thought Bart was excellent," said Laws. "He was thrusting going forward and deserved his goal.
"He is a player who can certainly add something to my squad and I am already thinking about making a bid.
"If we can't get him on a permanent deal, then I'd love to extend his loan."
