Midfielder to remain at Saltergate until the end of the season

Grimsby have agreed to allow Peter Till to stay on loan at Chesterfield until the end of the season. The midfielder initially joined the Spireites on a one-month deal in mid-January, but manager Lee Richardson has been suitably impressed to request that the terms be extended. Grimsby have now given the 23-year-old permission to stay with their League Two rivals until the end of the current campaign. The former Birmingham trainee joined Grimsby in January 2007 and has since made 70 starts for the Mariners in all competitions. Till has also spent loan periods at Scunthorpe and Leyton Orient during his career. Meanwhile, Chesterfield have signed Birmingham defender Jared Wilson on loan until the end of the season.
