Argentine stopper Matias Lequi is closing on a move to the Premier League,

The 27-year-old is a free-agent after leaving Spanish side Celta Vigo at the start of the season.
He has been linked with numerous clubs including AEK Athens and Bristol City, but now
skysports.com understands he is interesting a top-flight side.
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson insists that there was never much of a chance of his side signing the central defender.
"He's a player we're aware of, but not one we have spoken to," he said.
"Lequi has an excellent CV and it's flattering to be linked with a player of his ability.
"It can be a bit annoying at times, but it's also a back-handed compliment in a way."
