Waddock expects midfielder to add some bite to his squad
Aldershot Town have signed former Crewe Alexandra midfielder Justin Cochrane until the end of the season.
Cochrane had been a free agent, having recently spent a brief spell in the non-league ranks with Rushden & Diamonds.
The 27-year-old is known to boss Gary Waddock from his time as a youngster at Queens Park Rangers and the Shots boss is happy to add Cochrane to his squad.
"I had Justin at QPR as he progressed through the youth system," Waddock told the club's
official website.
"Although he is only 27 years old he has acquired good experience in the Championship and he will provide us with that bit of bite and athleticism in the middle of the park that we require at the moment.
"It was important that we could bring in another body to bolster the group and Justin is a good acquisition to the squad."
