Midfielder back at Derby for treatment on ankle injury

Lincoln City are hoping on-loan midfielder Paris Simmons has not picked up a serious ankle injury. Simmons joined the League Two club on a month's loan from Derby County earlier this week, but suffered an injury playing for the reserves. He has now returned to his parent club for treatment, but Imps boss Peter Jackson hopes the youngster will be able to come back to Sincil Bank. "I'm really disappointed that we've lost Paris," Jackson told the club's official website. "He's gone back to Derby and hopefully he'll be back with us next week, but we'll have to wait and see. "He'll be out for at least a week, so it will be a case of assessing his progress."
